Opening Meeting: Monday, February 26th, 11 AM - 12:30 PM ET / 8 - 9:30 AM PT / 6 - 7:30 PM Israel Time
We are a group of 12 RA members who are interested in a conversation on “A New Path Forward for the Jewish People”, with a focus on Israel and American Jewry, in light of the events of the past year. Our plan is to meet monthly on zoom for the coming 8 months and to have an electronic written conversation in between zoom meetings.
Our first zoom meeting is scheduled for February 26th, 11am-12:30pm EST. The question we will begin with is: “Ma Nishtana? What has changed for us Jewishly in the past 12 months? In particular, what have we learned from the Israeli Democracy Movement and from the tragic events of October 7th , as well as the world’s response to it? What, if anything, should we do differently?”
