We will explore resilience in the face of horror in the book of Esther in its conversation with the biblical book of Daniel. We will also discuss resilience in light of the theological responses to the Shoah in the writings of Rabbi Eliezer Berkovits ("With God in Hell") and Rabbi David Blumenthal ("The Banality of Good and Evil").
