Facilitated by Nahma Nadich, this three session learning cohort will focus on multiple aspects of transitioning to new positions and new communities, and evolving self-definitions as rabbis. Drawing both from universal lessons about managing transition, and the particular circumstances of each participant, we will address the three stages of transition; leaving (gleaning essential lessons, mourning loss, letting go) inhabiting a neutral zone (embracing the unknown, making way for the new) and entering the new phase (anticipating challenges, defining who you want to be and paving a path toward that vision).
