Selected Sugyot of Masekhet Rosh Hashanah: When Sounding the Shofar is a Mitzvah and/or a Prohibition

Wednesday, September 11; 12:00 pm ET / 9:00 am PT / 7:00 pm Israel Time

Looking for in-depth Talmud study that will also provide homer lidrush for the upcoming High Holiday season? In this four-part series, our colleague Marcus Mordecai Schwartz will analyze and lead a discussion about four elements of the shofar and its blasts. You’ll have the opportunity to learn various sugyot from Masekhet Rosh Hashanah, along with associated commentaries, as well as gain a new appreciation for the ritual of hearing the shofar.

Please note that while we encourage you to attend all sessions, each program can be appreciated as a standalone.
