Retired Rabbis Seminar in Israel
Please join us for our upcoming Seminar in Israel planned for retired rabbis (other colleagues also welcome!), taking place on Monday, October 19th through Thursday, October 22nd. We will spend four wonderful days together in Jerusalem and the Negev, exploring newly-opened sites, hearing from top notch political analysts, and studying with outstanding teachers.
We’ll have a chance to explore some of the new sites opened just in the past couple of years, including the National Library, the Knesset Museum, and the Pilgrim’s Steps in the City of David. We’ll learn from wonderful teachers such as Rachel Korazim, David Golinkin, and Ed Greenstein. And incisive analysts such as Matti Friedman (to be confirmed). See the itinerary for additional amazing sites and scholars!
And of course we’ll travel together with old and new friends!
You can see the draft itinerary here, as well as the flyer with details of the trip. Spouses/partners are welcome to attend at additional cost – there are separate registration fees for colleagues and spouses based in Israel, and those coming from abroad.
OPTIONAL: The Israel RA Region is hosting a shabbaton for Israeli colleagues prior to the seminar, and all colleagues are welcome to attend! More details will be available soon.
This trip is subsidized by Keren Kayemet L’Yisra’el (KKL), and there is additional subsidy funding available. Contact Jacob Blumenthal for questions about the program or financial assistance, and Wendy Bolm for questions about registration or payments.
