Civic Engagement

RAC voting

The Rabbinical Assembly and the Reform Movement have partnered on the Every Voice, Every Vote: 2020 Civic Engagement Campaign.

Rabbi Lee Paskind has kindly shared a helpful video walthrough of these materials. Watch the video here.

We have also published a resource on 10 steps each of us can take to maximize the impact of voting this year. Read it here.

Don't miss our new Resolution on Voting in the 2020 U.S. Elections.

If you are an RA member, please click here for our list of election-related programs and resources.

Filling out this form will provide access to resources, tools, and actions to mobilize voters in your community and congregation, voters who face obstacles to the ballot, and student voters. After you fill out the form you will receive an email with detailed instructions and links to access the civic engagement resources including toolkits and the voter pledge card. We have listed several of these resources below:As Jews, we believe democracy is strongest when everyone participates – and it suffers when citizens are shut out from the democratic process or choose not to engage. The 2020 Civic Engagement Campaign encourages all U.S. citizens to exercise their right to vote and to break down obstacles that shut some out of the voting booth.

  • Mobilizing Our Voters – RAC.org/OurVoters
  • Combating Voter Suppression – RAC.org/VoterSuppression
  • Engaging Student Voters – RAC.org/StudentVoters
  • Register for Every Voice, Every Vote: Every Week – weekly calls including office hours to support you in leading your community’s civic engagement efforts - RAC.org/EveryWeek

Additionally, the Reform Movement has partnered with the Center for Common Ground’s Reclaim Our Vote Campaign to contact low-propensity voters of color to help them register, do voter education, and/or get out the vote work. This form will allow you to order a postcard kit. Each postcard kit contains instructions, a script, registrar contact information, voter addresses, and 30 postcards.
