Think of the women rabbis who have shaped your life. Perhaps it’s your mother, daughter, or grandmother in the rabbinate. Maybe it’s a woman rabbi who inspired you from the pulpit, guided you through a lifecycle moment, or led with strength and compassion in your school, hospital, or local nonprofit. Perhaps it’s a classmate, teacher, or colleague whose wisdom has transformed your understanding of Jewish life.
Over the past 40 years, women in the Rabbinical Assembly have not only broken barriers but also transformed countless aspects of Jewish life. Their voices, ideas, and creativity have become central to our collective identity. From leading the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards (CJLS) to advocating for equitable Jewish life around the world and broadening our understanding of Jewish history, ritual, and theology, our women colleagues have reshaped what is possible in our Movement.
This milestone celebrates the trailblazers who paved the way, the current rabbis shaping our communities, and the future generations who will continue to inspire and lead our people. Click here for more information about this campaign.
