Jews around the world watch with an expectant heart as we anticipate reports about progress, at last, to free Sergeant Gilad Shalit. We are one family, standing with Noam and Aviva Shalit, waiting breathlessly for Israel's precious son to be returned to our arms.
The words of the psalmist affirm our faith:
ה' ישמר צאתך ובואך מעתה ועד עולם
God will guard your going out and your coming home now and forever.
May God grant Gilad a safe return to his family. May this day arrive במהרה בימנו, speedily and soon.
