RA Programming at 20/20 Judaism Convention

We're just over two months away from 20/20 Judaism, our collaborative convention with USCJ in Boston (Friday, December 6 - Tuesday, December 10, 2019). Our RA program chairs have been hard at work developing a special selection of RA programming just for colleagues to supplement the overall convention program. We are excited to share details of our special programming below. You can also view the overall convention schedule here, which features many of our colleagues as session presenters throughout the program.

Our colleague Jane Kanarek, Associate Professor of Rabbinics at Hebrew College, will be a keynote teacher over Shabbat.

On Sunday morning, our colleague Yoav Ende, Executive Director, Hannaton Educational Center, will present "The Aggada of the Masorti Movement in Israel: What's does Masorti Zionism look like in 2020?" This will be followed by a special limmud session for rabbis about "Halakhic attitudes toward a parent with Alzheimer's" taught by our colleague David Golinkin, President of Schechter Institutes.

On Sunday night, we will host a dessert reception honoring Elliot Schoenberg for his almost 30 years of service to the RA as Placement Director.

On Monday, colleagues will sit down to a rabbis lunch, followed by our annual business meeting where we will elect our next slate of officers and members of the Executive Council, and a special program with Joey Weisenberg and Daniel Langenthal titled "Attuning Leadership: Musical-Spiritual Exercises for Organizational Development." This workshop will use singing activities as metaphors to mimic common challenges faced in organizational settings.

On Tuesday morning, there will be a rabbis-only workshop presented by Eric Woodward titled "Interfaith* People: What Do They Actually Need?"

There will be additional RA programming on Sunday afternoon with more details forthcoming.

The schedule for 20/20 Judaism is available now on 2020Judaism.org. We will add increasing detail in the coming weeks as convention approaches, so check back frequently. Please click here to register and reserve a room.

We can't wait to see you in Boston!
