Rabbinical Assembly Condemns NYT Ad Attacking Ambassador Rice

NEW YORK – The Rabbinical Assembly, the international association of Conservative rabbis, strongly condemned a full-page ad in today’s New York Times accusing U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice of having a “blind spot” for the genocide of the Jewish people.  In a statement by RA President Rabbi William Gershon and Executive Vice President Rabbi Julie Schonfeld, the RA said:

Regardless of how you feel about Iran negotiations or Iran sanctions, today’s ad attacking National Security Advisor Susan Rice is beyond the pale.  Susan Rice has long been a friend of Israel’s and a friend of the Jewish people.  Today’s attack ad is despicable.
