Rabbis under Suspension from the RA for Ethical Violations of the Code of Conduct

Listed below are those rabbis who have been suspended from membership in the RA and are subject to the provisions of their suspension until determined otherwise by the Va’ad HaKavod. Suspended members are engaged in the serious work of teshuva and are eligible to be restored to full membership status upon successful completion of the requirements as determined by the Va’ad HaKavod. When the RA lifts a suspension, it follows a robust protocol to reach its determination which is designed to hold rabbis accountable following a violation of our Code of Conduct. Suspensions are lifted when the rabbi commits to and meets all of the conditions of an appropriate path to accountability developed in consultation with outside experts and consultants.
